Megan Puls

Megan Puls is a dedicated studio potter whose journey has taken her from the lush valley edges of a forest to the vast expanse of the ocean. Her latest body of work is a deep exploration of the diverse coastal habitats surrounding her home on the fringes of South East Queensland. Fascinated by the ever-changing landscapes of the shoreline and beyond, Megan translates these environments into her chosen medium—porcelain and clay—allowing her to interpret, inspire, and create with a refined artistic vision. Walking The Loop is an idea shaped by the colours, textures, and forms of the intricate natural world along the Tanglewood Track in Noosa National Park. Drawing from these elements, Megan has crafted a contemporary collection of complementary works—each piece hand-built or wheel-thrown and stoneware-fired. Her unwavering dedication to her practice is evident in her ongoing dialogue with clay and ceramics, capturing the essence of place through form and material.
