Chilu is driven by emotion and always searching for silver linings. Carving out the time to build an artistic practice around family life is challenging but the drive to create joy through art keeps things on track . “My goal is to allow my work to tell stories that reflect my personal experiences and to make an authentic connection with art collectors.” Chilu is an emerging artist based in Sydney, on Cammeraygal Country. “I have always followed a creative path… Visual Arts was my strongest subject at school, I hold a Bachelor of Creative Arts/Law and have worked as a web designer, graphic designer and illustrator. Looking ahead, my goal is to carve out my own unique path and to fulfil my purpose of honouring the people who saved my sons life.”
